The Mumbai police apprehended two individuals on Thursday and confiscated 503 grams of MD drugs worth Rs 1.18 crore from a drug production facility located in the Lalji Pada slum area of the city.

An officer stated that a 24-year-old chemical scientist named Noor Alam Mahboob Alam Chaudhary was also arrested for his involvement in the operation, as he is believed to be the mastermind behind the chemical production.

In addition, the police arrested a 30-year-old suspect named Abrar Ibrahim Shaikh for drug possession.
