Priyanka Gandhi’s role as the Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge comes to an end, with Pilot assuming a crucial position.

In a move to rejuvenate the party ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the Congress party has announced a reshuffle in its leadership. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been relieved from her position as AICC in-charge of UP Congress. Additionally, Sachin Pilot has been appointed as the in-charge of Chhattisgarh Congress, while Ramesh Chennithala will take charge of Maharashtra.

The press release by the Congress party further revealed that Mukul Wasnik will be responsible for Gujarat, Jitendra Singh for Assam and Madhya Pradesh, Randeep Singh Surjewala for Karnataka, and Dipak Babaria for Delhi and Haryana. Avinash Pande has been appointed as the in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, Kumari Selja for Uttarakhand, and GA Mir for Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Deepa Dasmunshi will take charge of Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Telangana. Jairam Ramesh will be in charge of communications, while KC Venugopal will head organizations. Other key appointments include Ramesh Chennithala for Maharashtra, Mohan Prakash for Bihar, and Dr Chellakumar for Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Dr Ajoy Kumar will oversee Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, Bharatsing Solanki will be responsible for Jammu and Kashmir, Rajeev Shukla for Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa for Rajasthan, Devender Yadav for Punjab, and Manikrao Thakre for Goa, Daman & Diu, and Dadar & Nagar Haveli.
