Rahul Gandhi accuses BJP MPs of fleeing during Lok Sabha breach, saying ‘Hawa nikal gyi unki’.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused BJP MPs of fleeing the Lok Sabha during the Parliament breach incident. Speaking at a protest in Delhi, Gandhi stated, “A few days ago, two-three youths entered Parliament, released smoke, and all BJP MPs ran away.” He criticized those who consider themselves patriotic, saying, “Their patriotism vanished into thin air.” Gandhi also highlighted the issue of unemployment in the country, referring to a survey that showed youths spending 7.5 hours a day on social media. Senior opposition leaders, including Sharad Pawar, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sitaram Yechury, and others, joined the protest against the suspension of 146 opposition MPs from the Winter Session. The security breach occurred on December 13, with two visitors entering the Lok Sabha chambers and causing panic among the MPs. Two other individuals were outside Parliament with smoke canisters. The accused claimed they were protesting against unemployment, inflation, and Manipur violence. Media reports revealed that at least four of the six accused were unemployed at the time of the incident.,

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs fled during the breach of the Lok Sabha. He stated, “Hawa nikal gyi unki” (They lost their nerve). This remark came after several opposition MPs stormed the well of the parliament, demanding a discussion on the Pegasus snooping scandal. Gandhi’s comment reflects his perception that the BJP MPs lacked the courage to face the opposition’s demand for accountability.
