They touched upon various areas, including trade, investment, finance, banking, transport, logistics, energy, and food security. The parties also emphasized the importance of promoting priority industrial cooperation projects.

During his visit, Mr. Jaishankar also held a meeting with leading representatives of the Russian strategic community, where they discussed connectivity, multilateralism, big power competition, and regional conflicts. They emphasized the significance of rebalancing and the emergence of multipolarity.

Mr. Jaishankar’s visit to Russia, which began on Sunday and will last until December 29, is aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries. Upon his arrival, he expressed his anticipation for the engagements in Russia.
