In-laws in Bihar kill man for opposing wife’s Insta Reels.

A man in Bihar’s Begusarai was reportedly murdered by his in-laws after he voiced his objection to his wife’s excessive involvement in creating Instagram reels using viral songs, according to local police. The victim, Maheshwar Kumar Rai, had been married to Rani Kumari for six years and the couple had a five-year-old son. The incident occurred in Fafaut village in Begusarai last night. Maheshwar, who had been working as a laborer in Kolkata, recently returned home and confronted his wife about her obsession with making reels. This led to a heated argument between them. The woman, who has amassed a following of over 9,500 on Instagram and has shared more than 500 reels, made a call to Maheshwar’s brother, Rudal, late at night. However, someone else answered the phone and a dispute ensued. Rudal then contacted their family, who arrived at the in-laws’ house and discovered Maheshwar’s lifeless body. The victim’s father accused his son-in-law’s family of hanging him due to his opposition to the creation of reels, noting that the woman’s relatives were absent when they arrived. The police were immediately notified, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Presently, an investigation is underway. The family also claimed that upon arrival, they witnessed four individuals attempting to dispose of the body under the guise of taking it to a hospital.
