Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: CeaseFire trailer has been released and has received great praise from fans who are eagerly awaiting its release. In the film, Prabhas delivers an action-packed performance. As Salaar nears its release on December 22, the actor has opened up about the physical transformation he underwent for the role. Salaar Part 1: CeaseFire is directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for his work in the movie KGF.

During an interview, Prabhas was asked about the time he dedicated to shooting his character in Salaar. In response, Prabhas said, “Prashanth is a director who understands the needs of his actors. When I mentioned the time I would be available, he was comfortable with that. Once the actors, including me, Shruti, and Prithvi, were on set, there was no stopping the shoot. The team solely focused on capturing our shots. Despite us offering to wait, we were never made to do so. When I arrived for the first schedule, I don’t recall the exact time, but everything came to a halt as the hero’s entry was being filmed. I reassured Prashanth that I have waited for half of my previous films, so there was no issue.”

Expanding on his transformation for the role, Prabhas shared, “I didn’t do anything extraordinary; Prashanth wanted me to build muscles for the character, so I adapted accordingly. This has been a common practice for me. There hasn’t been a significant transformation in the last 21 years.”

The action-packed movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes and has received an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board due to its intense combat, violence, and battle scenes. This certification highlights the grand scale of the film.
